Citi Research issued a research report expecting that Macau's GGR for the first 5 days of October will reach approx. MOP5.5 billion, based on industry data, implying an average daily GGR of about MOP1.1 billion during the first five days of the National Day Golden Week, in line with Citi Research's forecast of around MOP1.05 billion. Field observations found the recent typhoon Matmo had little impact on Macau, the broker added. Citi Research believed that, after the Golden Week, Macau's GGR will be boosted by the NBA China games and Korean star concerts. Currently, the broker maintained its October GGR forecast at MOP23 billion, equivalent to 87% of the October 2019 level, representing an 11% YoY growth.
