GCL Group Launches LNG Production in Ethiopia's Ogaden Basin: Report

GCL Group's 200,000 cubic meter modular liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant in Ethiopia officially commenced production yesterday (2nd), according to Chinese media reports.

The plant is located at the Calub camp in Ethiopia's Somali region within the Ogaden Basin in East Africa. The adjacent GCL LNG modular liquefaction phase two and large-scale projects, including natural gas power generation and refining industries, have simultaneously commenced groundbreaking.
